It’s a great place for canoes, rowboats and summertime swimming. Water skiing is limited to a few hours in the middle of the day. Jet skis are not allowed on the lake. Enjoy the many restaurants and shops in langley, 9 minutes away. There is a lot to do and see on whidbey island and we are conveniently located for most of it. a trip to whidbey island isn’t complete without visiting puget sound. Salt-water access (boating and beach) is just a few minutes away at the numerous parks on south whidbey. this is a perfect romantic getaway for just the two of you. Area Description :
Deer lake has maximum depth of 50 feet and reaches 25 feet a short paddle from our dock. The depth at the dock is 3 to 4 feet and reaches a nice swimming depth of 7 feet about 30 feet from the dock. The distance to the far side of the lake is a half-mile. On summer evenings there are people swimming all over the lake. There is a public boat launch 3 blocks away if you bring a boat on a trailer and you can tie your boat up at our dock.
